MEI’s updated range of slack adjusters for Scania applications. New parts in range for later model Scania trucks:
Take care for Scania trucks from 2017 build onwards as the older design of ASA are not compatible for the new trucks.
Position of the fixed points have changed, meaning the control arm angle changes compared to older models.
Housing geometry has changed to work around new suspension designs.
Using the incorrect adjuster will put extra pressure on the control arm and will damage and eventually snap it, leading to loss of brakes.
Our rule of thumb: if the Scania part number starts with 2, it’s new!
